Causeway Bay is the most popular shopping district on Hong Kong Island. During weekends, some side streets are closed to automobile traffic to accommodate the crowds. Russell Street, Hennessy Road and Yee Wo Street are major hubs within Causeway Bay with numerous shops, restaurants, cinemas and shopping malls.

One of the largest Japanese department stores in Hong Kong, SOGO has floors devoted to different themes, such as men's wear, children's clothing, toys and souvenirs. The two basement levels include restaurants and a supermarket.
