Hong Kong Heritage Museum

The museum’s 12 galleries are built around traditional Chinese open courtyards. In addition to changing thematic exhibitions, the permanent galleries showcase the history and culture of the New Territories, Cantonese opera and Chinese culture. A Children’s Discovery Gallery offers a fun way for children to discover the mysteries of archaeology and to learn about the natural environment.

Open	Mon, Wed - Sat: 10am - 6pm; Sun & Public Holidays : 10am - 7pm; Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year Eve : 10am - 5pm
Closed	Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of the Lunar New Year.
Location	1 Man Lam Road, Sha Tin, New Territories
Transportation	1) MTR Che Kung Temple station (Exit A), cross footbridge and walk 5 minutes to the museum. 2) MTR Sha Tin station, exit through New Town Plaza and turn right along side Shing Mun River and walk for about 10 - 15 minutes to the Museum on Man Lam Road. Or take a short taxi ride from the station.
