Guilin's mesmerising jagged limestone peaks rise from the plains and meandering rivers
and have inspired many great works of art and literature. Formations such as Elephant Trunk Hill,
Little Boy Praying to Buddha and Nine Horses Rock, each with their own legend, engage and enchant
visitors.
The underground scenery is no less spectacular. Phenomenal rock formations in the Reed Flute Cave are
lit by multi-coloured illuminations. Don't miss the spectacular Crystal Palace grotto, which can
accommodate 1,000 people.
